I know, I know

You don’t have to say it. Frankly, I’ve been boring.

No real reason, though it’s likely the lack of consistent input is a reflection of my mental state. Just been reading my Moltmann and wandering my way through the holidays, with little sparking my interest enough to note.

Hopefully this will change soon. After the new year I’ll be starting one and maybe two classes, both stretching in different aspects of my spiritual life, and so both pushing me to engage plenty of material, launching me out of the doldrums.

Hold on until then, and see what happens.

The real question is, are you boring to yourself? The rest of us don’t matter so much. But if you’re boring to yourself, then something needs to change. 😉 Perhaps some good fiction for a change of pace?

I think that’s it right there. It’s mostly that I’m boring to myself right now. I think I don’t tend to notice if I’m boring to other people, as long I’m self-entertaining. So, yeah, something needs to change.

In fact, just now finished watching Sketches of Frank Gehry and found a renewed path of inspiration there. It’s a fascinating movie to be sure, especially when I’m watching it with 1 Cor. 14:12 in the back of my mind.

But that’s a whole new topic, hopefully an interesting one. 🙂
