stories from the wilderness

You may have noticed a bit of a theme the last few days. I wrote a lot on the concept of the wilderness. A big part of the timing for this came from the monthly synchroblog theme, in which a group of bloggers all contribute something on the same topic. This month, obviously, was “wilderness”.

Here’s a list of the contributions. All very worth reading, because they are deep, and true, and point to some of the most vulnerable places in our faith, the places we’re far too often told to hide or ignore.

There’s my four part series called “Musings” and they can be found here:
Part One, Part Two, Part Three and Part Four, as well as my followup, in which I plug my (someday) forthcoming book, How Long?
